How do our LED lamps work?
When choosing a Pink Gellac gel polish lamp, it’s essential to understand the difference between our compact and premium models. We’ll explain how both lamps work and help you discover which one best suits your nail routine. Read on to find your ideal match!
Discover the differences
Insert the round side of the plug into the back of the lamp, and the other side into a socket. Turn on the lamp by holding the on/off button for three seconds. It will automatically set to 30 seconds. To change the timer, tap the on/off button briefly (about 1 second) until the desired time is displayed. The light activates when it detects something inside the lamp. Once your hand is inside and the light turns on, the time cannot be adjusted. To change the timer, remove your hand first.
The lamp uses a sensor to turn the light on and off, and it will automatically turn off when the timer ends or if your hand is removed. When the lamp is in bright sunlight, adjustment can sometimes be more difficult. We advise you to always do your manicure indoors and out of direct sunlight, as UV light can harden open gel polish and make it thicker.
Insert the plug into the socket in the same way as the Premium LED Lamp. Then turn on the lamp by switching the on and off button on the back. The Compact LED lamp will beep when it turns on. The light is turned on by pressing the button on top of the lamp. The timer is automatically set to 60 seconds, and this cannot be changed. The lamp gives a signal after 30 seconds.
We recommend curing a maximum of 4 fingers at a time. Cure your thumb separately to ensure the gel polish can be cured fully.
We recommend that you plug the lamp directly into the socket. If you use your lamp with an extension cord, it will become less powerful during use, which will prevent the gel polish from curing properly.
If you want to turn off the lamp completely, we do not recommend that you immediately pull the plug from the socket. Instead, turn off the lamp by either switching the on and off switch again (Compact Lamp) or by placing your finger on the on/off button for 3 seconds (Premium Lamp). Only then pull out the plug.
How to clean your LED lamp?
Make sure the lamp is no longer connected to the socket and remove the plug from the back of the lamp. Our Premium LED Lamp has a removable bottom, which makes cleaning easier. Remove this from the round hood. This does not apply if you own the Compact LED Lamp. Apply some Cleaner to a lint-free Nail Wipe and clean both the outside and the inside. Let the lamp airdry and then it is ready to use again.
