How to remove gel polish?

There is a time of coming and going. The same goes for the colours of your nails. So now you want to know: how do you remove the polish? Of course, you want to remove your polish as thoroughly and effectively as possible. That is why we would like to explain to you the best way for a Gel Nail Polish removal. Before you get started, you will need the following items from the starter pack.

• Nail wipes
• Orange Woodsticks
• Nail file
• Cuticle Oil (Do not use this if you are going to reapply gel polish, your manicure won’t adhere to your nails. Use Cuticle Oil after applying your gel polish.)
• Remover or Remover Pockets
• Manicure Placemat
• Aluminium foil

Step 1: File off the top coat

Start by filing the Top Coat off the nail. To do this, it is best to use the coarse and grainy side of your file. This way the remover can be absorbed better and do its job.

Step 2: Apply the remover

Soak a Nail Wipe with the remover and place it on the nails. Then wrap your fingertips tightly in the aluminium foil and leave to soak for 8-10 minutes. Are you using the Remover Pockets? Then you don't need Remover and aluminium foil. Open the packaging and wrap it tightly around your fingertips.

Step 3: Soaking..

After 8-10 minutes, remove the aluminium foil or Remover Pocket. Do this in a circular motion. Start with 1 finger to see if the gel polish comes off. Is this not the case? Then let the remover soak a little longer.

Step 4: Orange Woodstick

When the gel polish comes off, it can easily be removed with an Orange wood stick. Be careful not to press too hard with it. This can unintentionally damage your nails.

Care

After removing the gel polish, you can immediately apply a new gel polish manicure. Is this not your immediate plan? Then you can first take good care of your cuticles with Cuticle Oil. A healthy cuticle is essential for Pink Gellac.
