To expand our Finance & HR team, we are looking for an Administrative Controller (38-40 hours per week).

Introduction

Pink Gellac continues to grow, both online and with its own stores. We currently have brand stores in the Netherlands and Belgium, and we are busy expanding further within Europe. Of course, we cannot do this without driven and passionate employees. Due to this growth, we are looking for an Assistant Controller.

Organisation

Our charming office villa is located in Hilversum. From this location, the management, Finance, HR, Operations, Marketing, Digital, Product Development, and customer service teams work enthusiastically every day to expand our brand. In addition, we have a production location in the neighbouring Baarn, where our products are made, and of course, a passionate team that staffs our beautiful stores. These now include 9 stores in the Netherlands and Belgium. We are a fast-growing organisation with more than 150 colleagues. The number of colleagues will increase significantly in the coming years given the ambitious growth plans.

About the position

A lot of work has been done recently to professionalise all business and administrative processes. For our financial administration, we use Exact Online, and for our HR department, we use Personio. We are looking for additional administrative support. As an Assistant Controller, you will be involved with all the administrative and financial processes of the various companies. Together with the team, you ensure that the administrations are cared for timely and to the last detail. This includes processing incoming invoices, bank transactions, and taking care of month-end closings and the associated interim figures. Various journal entries fall within your responsibility, and you monitor intercompany accounts on a daily basis. You follow up on the creditors' administration daily and also prepare the payments. You support the HR manager with administrative tasks. In addition, various office manager activities are part of your job description, such as weekly mail shipments, various office orders, and some secretarial tasks for the management team. Due to the diversity of the different departments, the work is very varied. In practice, your task package will fall within the Finance and HR domains. In short, a versatile position where you are broadly deployable and enjoy contributing to the daily administrative tasks and projects within the organisation.

What do we ask of you?

You are an administrative star with a service-oriented attitude. You take the initiative and enjoy working with numbers and improving current processes when possible. You can work independently, are communicatively strong, and easily navigate various systems. You know how to get things done, have a hands-on mentality, and enjoy working in a dynamic environment. In addition, you have completed an MBO education in a relevant financial field and have some years of work experience in finance.

  • A completed relevant MBO education in finance;
  • After your studies, you have gained 2-5 years of work experience in a similar position;
  • Knowledge of Exact Online is a plus;
  • Someone with an excellent command of the Dutch language and a good foundation for communicating in English with suppliers;
  • You achieve results with your proactive attitude and perseverance, and you feel responsible for your tasks.
  • Organised, accurate, communicatively skilled, and a team player;
