Pink Gellac is the data controller for the processing of personal data collected through the web shop. We are committed to the careful handling of personal data. We use the utmost care when processing and securing personal data.
In our processing, we comply with the requirements laid down in privacy legislation. This means, among other things, that:
- we clearly state the purposes for which we process personal data. We do so through this privacy statement;
- we limit our collection of personal data to only those personal data necessary for legitimate purposes;
- we first ask you for your express consent to process your personal data in cases where your consent is required;

2. Using our web shop
When using our web shop, we collect personal data from you. This may include personal data. We store and use personal data provided directly by you in the context of the service products you have requested, or for which it is clear at the time of submission that it is provided to us for processing.
We usually process your personal data if this is required to conclude or perform an agreement with you, e.g. when you buy a product from us. Sometimes we process personal data to comply with a legal obligation, such as the keeping of our financial records. For some forms of processing, such as the sending of our newsletter, we ask you for your consent. You can create a personal account on our website. To offer you this service, and to conclude or perform our agreement, we process your name, e-mail address and a password chosen by you. This account makes shopping easier and faster and allows you to keep a wish list. It also allows you to retrieve your orders.

There are several ways in which you can contact us. This can be done using the contact form or chat function on the website, by e-mail, WhatsApp or telephone. You will be asked to fill in various details so that we can handle your query. You decide which data you provide for this purpose. The personal data you provide are then processed for the handling of your query and/or complaint.
We publish a newsletter in which we inform interested parties about our products and/or services. Once you have subscribed to our newsletter, your e-mail address is automatically added to the list of subscribers. All newsletters include a link which allows you to unsubscribe. Alternatively, you can revoke your consent via the contact details below.
2.5 Publication
When using our web shop, data may be published, which means that it will be visible to everyone on the Internet. After purchasing our products, we ask you to review our products and services. We do so on the basis of a legitimate interest, to help other people to make informed decisions and improve our products and services. You choose the information you wish to publish when you ask a question, review us or post a comment on a blog post. This might make you personally identifiable, for instance, if you include your first and last name. At your request, we will anonymise information that is published. You are always free to choose to remain completely anonymous.
2.6 Improving products, services and business operations, and statistical analyses
For the purpose of providing quality, we may use your personal data, for example, if you complain about a product or our services. We also process personal data to gather statistical data. We do this for reasons of legitimate interest, i.e., to keep improving our products and services.

When you buy a product from us, we may subsequently approach you regarding a similar product. Due to your previous purchase, we presume that such a product may interest you. - Pink Gellac also uses services provided by third-parties that act as "processors" (for example, hosting service providers and online marketing service providers). Pink Gellac is obliged to conclude a processing agreement with these service providers, which stipulates that they will only process personal data in accordance with Pink Gellac's instructions and subject to Pink Gellac's control. In this context, the necessary technical and organisational measures have been implemented to ensure that your data is processed reliably and securely.
In principle, your personal data will not be transmitted outside the European Economic Area. If, however, this does happen occasionally, Pink Gellac will take measures to ensure that the international transmission of personal data complies with applicable law.
