About the role
As Store Manager, you’re the beating heart of our Colour Boutique in Groningen. You inspire your team and ensure every customer leaves the store with a smile – and the perfect nail advice. With your energy, people skills and service mindset, you create a warm, professional atmosphere where the customer experience is everything. Already familiar with our products? Great! If not – no problem. We’ll introduce you to the colourful world of Pink Gellac. With our training and ongoing education, you and your team will always be up to date on the latest trends, techniques, and colours.
Your responsibilities
As Store Manager, you’re the face of our new Colour Boutique and make sure everything runs smoothly – on the shop floor and behind the scenes. Your main tasks:
- Leading, coaching and motivating your team to deliver the best in-store experience
- Ensuring excellent service and a warm welcome for every customer
- Demonstrating products and giving personalised, inspiring advice
- Managing rotas and day-to-day operations
- Analysing sales data and driving performance
- Holding performance and development reviews
- Organising training on product knowledge and customer-focused sales
- Stock management and ordering products
- Running in-store promotions and fun events
- Spotting commercial opportunities and sharing ideas with HQ
Who we're looking for
You're a natural leader with a passion for retail and beauty. You know how to energise a team and inspire customers. You also:
- Have experience as a (Assistant) Store Manager in retail
- Are enthusiastic, commercially-minded and customer-focused
- Have an interest in beauty and cosmetics (experience with Pink Gellac is a plus, not a must)
- Are available for 38 hours per week (fewer hours can be discussed)
- Speak and write fluent Dutch
- Are well-presented, solution-oriented and flexible
- Preferably live in or near Groningen
