NAIL EXTENSION TIPS – HOW TO

Dreaming of longer nails? With the Nail Extension Tips you get a beautiful, natural look at home straight away.

The tips are pre-shaped and pre-prepped for a seamless fit, and made from a lightweight, flexible material that moves comfortably with you. Apply them in combination with Rubber Base and our Flash Cure Lamp for a result that lasts. Paint them in any Pink Gellac colour you like, or use them as a base for nail art. In this video, we'll show you step by step how to use our nail extension tips.

Step 1. Application

Lightly buff the shine off the nail plate with the Buffer Block so the Rubber Base can bond properly. File the nails into the desired shape and length with the Nail File and thoroughly degrease them with the Cleaner on a Nail Wipe. Make sure your environment is dust-free before moving on to step 2.

Step 2. Choose the right tip

Select the right size for each nail. The tip should fully cover the nail without touching the cuticle.

Step 3. Apply the Nail Extension Tips

Apply a thin layer of Rubber Base to the nail plate, 1mm away from the cuticles. Press the Nail Extension Tip firmly onto the nail and hold it in place for a few seconds.

Step 4. Fix in the Flash Cure Lamp

Fix the tip for 20 seconds under the Flash Cure Lamp. Repeat this for all nails on one hand.

Step 5. Cure all nails in the LED lamp

Then fully cure all the tips and the Rubber Base: 60 seconds under the Pink Gellac LED lamp.

Step 6. Optional: adjust the length and/or shape

Trim the tips to the desired length with the Nail Tip Cutter or file them into shape. Then remove any dust with a Nail Wipe before continuing.

Step 7. Apply colour

Since the tips are already prepped, you can apply your favourite Gel Polish colour straight away. A Base Coat is not needed. Paint 1mm away from the cuticles, seal the free edges to prevent lifting, and cure the colour layer for 60 seconds under the Pink Gellac LED lamp. Repeat if needed for a fully covering result.

Step 8. Apply Shine

Apply a thin layer of Shine 1mm away from the cuticles, sealing the free edges. Cure the Shine for 60 seconds under the Pink Gellac LED lamp, wait 2 minutes for your nails to cool down, and remove the tacky layer with the Cleaner on a Nail Wipe.

Removing the nail extension tips

Removing your Nail Extension Tips works the same way as removing a regular gel polish manicure.

Step 1. Prepare

If needed, first trim the tips shorter with the Nail Tip Cutter for easier removal. Gently file the tips matte down to the colour layer, including the edges, and soak your hands beforehand in a warm bath with oil.

Step 2. Removing the Nail Extension Tips

Soak a Nail Wipe generously with the Remover and place it on the tip. Wrap the fingertips tightly in aluminium foil and let the Remover work for 10-15 minutes. Twist the foil off with a rotating motion and gently slide the tips off with a Woodstick or Cuticle Pusher. Remove any residue with the Buffer Block.
