What are Pink Gellac's Permanent Markers?

The Permanent Markers resemble pens but are specifically designed for nails. They have two ends: a 'regular' end and an ultra-thin fine liner end. This allows you to create an infinite variety of designs. You can write and draw on your nails, as well as create marble or watercolour effects. Apply the markers over a base coat and/or base colour to prevent the marker from seeping into the nail.

When using the markers, it's important to remove the sticky layer of your gel polish after applying a base (colour) and curing it. Otherwise, the sticky layer of the gel polish may get into the marker, causing it to lose pigment and eventually not work properly. If you want to create a marble/watercolour effect, draw random lines on your nail and brush over them with a brush dipped in some Cleaner. The markers air-dry within 30 seconds. Seal your design with a Top Coat, and the design will stay as you created it.

HOW TO USE THE PERMANENT MARKERS:

Step 1: Prepare your nails as usual. Shape them, push back cuticles, and buff the nails with a Polishing Block. Degrease your nails with Cleaner to make them clean and grease-free. Apply a layer of Prep Booster and let it air-dry for 30 seconds.

Step 2: Apply your favourite Base Coat and cure it for 60 seconds under the LED lamp.

Step 3: If you want to apply a gel polish colour as a base layer, apply it as usual. Apply one or two layers and cure each layer for 60 seconds under the LED lamp.

Step 4: After all nails have been under the lamp, the gel polish is cured, but it still has a tacky layer. When using the Permanent Markers, it is crucial to remove the sticky layer in between steps with a Nail Wipe and Cleaner. The nails will have a soft matte look.

Step 5: Draw your design with the Permanent Markers. Let the design air-dry for 30 seconds.

Step 6: Seal your nail with your favourite Top Coat. This will give you the finish, shine, and therefore desired result. Also, this prevents the design from smudging or fading.

Step 7: Did you use the Shine Top Coat? Then, remove the sticky layer with Cleaner. Finish with your favourite Cuticle Oil.

CAN YOU USE THE MARKERS OVER REGULAR NAIL POLISH?

The Permanent Markers can also be used over regular nail polish, but make sure the polish is completely dry. Otherwise, the nail polish on the nail may become bumpy and will get into the marker, causing it to not working properly.
