Swirls Nail Art

Feel like the weather is all kind of the same these days: Grey and boring? Well, we’ve got some funky colours and swirl nail art to create a welcome break in the weather this autumn!

With this step-by-step plan you can create these beautiful gel polish swirls. We’ll tell you exactly how to make these swirls and what you need for it.

What do you need?

  • The basics such as the Prep Booster, polishing blockLED lamp, a Base Coat and a Top Coat
  • 348 Teal Blue
  • 357 Violet Plum
  • 207 Funky Teal
  • 356 Deep Purple
  • Detail Brush

  • Prep your nails

Prepare your nails by filing them into the desired shape. Remove the natural shine from your nails with a polishing block. Use the Cleaner to degrease and clean the nails. Apply the Prep Booster and allow it to air dry for 30 seconds.

Step 1 – Apply Base Coat

Apply your favourite base coat and let it cure for 60 seconds under the LED lamp.

    Step 2 – Base Colour

Apply two layers of 348 Teal Blue all over the nail. Let both layers cure for 60 seconds under the LED lamp.

    Step 3 – Swirling Lines

Take a bit of 357 Violet Plum on your Detail Brush and run the tip of the brush from the top of the nail towards the cuticle in a swirling line. To create a line that slightly fades out, start by applying a bit more pressure on the brush at the beginning of the nail and gradually lift the pressure towards the other end of the nail. Let it cure for 60 seconds under the LED lamp. Clean your brush in the meantime.

Step 4 – More Swirling Lines

Now take a small amount of 207 Funky Teal and repeat step 3. Do the same with the colour 356 Deep Purple. Don’t forget to cure each line under the LED lamp and clean your brush between each colour used.

Step 5 - Apply Top Coat

Final step: Apply one of our Top Coats over the entire nail and let it cure for 60 seconds under the LED lamp. Did you use the Shine Top Coat? Then remove the adhesive layer with the Cleaner.

It’s that simple! So are you ready for the holidays? Go on and find your perfect glitter gel polish in our Pink Gellac assortment.
