How to do a French manicure on short nails?
A French manicure on short nails? Absolutely! While the classic French manicure is often associated with longer nails, this timeless look is just as stunning on shorter nails. In fact, a micro French manicure – a finer and more delicate version of the traditional French tip – has become a major trend. But also on short nails it doesn't have to be the traditional look! Instead of the classic white tip, you can get creative and use any colour you like to make your own unique version. In this how-to, we'll show you step-by-step how to create French tips on short nails.
We always like to say: your preparation is key. Make sure you follow these steps for optimal results:

After your preparation, it's time for the Build it Base. Wondering how to apply BIB? Read the step-by-step in our blog. Apply two layers of the colour Tender Pink and let it cure for 120 seconds under the LED lamp.
For the tip, use 299 Coco White. Use a Fine Liner to draw a thin horizontal line over the entire tip of your nail. This line will define the thickness of the tip.
Apply your favourite Top Coat and let it cure for 60 seconds under the LED lamp.
The fun part about a French tip is that you can give it your own twist! Whether you go for classic white edges or play around with colours, patterns, and glitter – the possibilities are endless. Add a personal touch by experimenting with different colours and even small details like swirls or stones. This way, you create a unique look that perfectly matches your style and gives your nails something extra! Looking for inspiration on how to switch it up?
