French manicure in 4 steps

A French Manicure gives your nails the classy and well-groomed look they deserve. In only 4 steps you will paint the most beautiful Gel French manicure. Before you start with this gel polish manicure, you will need the following products and items:

  • LED Lamp
  • Pink French Manicure Set
  • Prep Booster
  • Basecoat
  • Topcoat
  • Nail Wipes
  • Nail File
  • Polishing Block

Step 1: The best preparation for a French Manicuree

For a good French Manicure, a good start is essential. Start by filing your nails into shape. Then remove the natural gloss from your nails with the polishing block. Afterwards, degrease the nails with the Cleaner. Apply a thin layer of Prep Booster and let it air dry for 30 seconds. Finally, apply the Base Coat and let it cure for 60 seconds under the LED lamp.

Step 2: Pink Gellac Colour 121

After your preparation, it is time to start with the gel polish. Apply 1 or 2 layers of the gel polish colour 121. Brush well and leave 1 millimetre free between the lacquer and the cuticle. Then let it cure for 60 seconds under the LED lamp.

Step 3: Creating a white border

It is now time to give your nail tips a nice finishing touch. With the gel polish colour 101 Soft White you can give these tips a nice white edge. Do you have a steady hand? Then you can apply the rim horizontally in two parts. A slightly less steady hand? Then lacquer the edge vertically. Anyway, you will get the most beautiful and natural result by applying the fringe in a slight curve as thinly as possible. The edge is tightened by dipping the French Manicure Brush into the Cleaner and drawing a line along the white edge. When you are satisfied with the result you can let it cure for 60 seconds under the LED lamp.

Step 4: Apply Top Coat

It is almost done! Finally, apply a layer of the Top Coat. Let this layer also cure for 60 seconds under the LED lamp. Did you happen to use the Shine Top Coat? Then remove it after 1 minute with a Nail Wipe and the Cleaner.

Et voilà your French Manicure is ready!
